Hello people, it’s been a while since our latest tutorial. Today I’d like to share with you a quick tip that can help you in case you’re a regular user of the Brush tool in Photoshop. A few days ago, I was talking to a friend who told me that she was having trouble when drawing with the Brush tool, the problem was that when she passed the brush over the guides of the document, these elements affected the brush, making difficult to create a smooth trace.

I haven’t noticed that problem before, so the first thing I said to her was “Well, why don’t you just simply hide the guides while you’re drawing?, she said “No way, I need them!”. I started experimenting and finally I stumbled upon the solution, you just need to go to View>Snap To and uncheck the “Guides” option, that way your traces won’t get affected by the guides anymore.

And that’s it, I hope this little trick can be helpful for you, my friend was going crazy before I helped her find the solution, I wish you a great day and we’ll see you next time.

Thanks very much!! Was getting really frustrated by that too, but didn’t know where to start sorting it out. Great!
