To start talking about the Olympics, we need to go back to the Ancient Greece. The original Olympics were held in the city of Athens as way to honor the gods. Centuries later, Pierre de Frédy, Baron de Coubertin, revived the Olympics and since then they have been celebrated every four years, this without counting the Winter Games, the Paralympic Games and the Youth Games. Because many people enjoyed our post about football posters, we decided to pay tribute to the most important sports event with a fine selection of the logos that were created for each one of the Olympic Games, enjoy it!.

I personally love the Salt Lake City logo, it’s a beautiful and yet simple design with a fine color selection. Which one’s your favorite?, do you think the latest logos are worse than the classic ones?, don’t forget to leave us your comments!.

All of them look great whitout london 2012 … There is nothing! I mean i look it like a normal person, there shoud be something to nitice from first look and this – this is random shapes.
I agree with you Alex, London’s logo is probably the most expensive and yet unattractive logo of all history of the Olympics…
